Stephen B. Moore
Founder / CEO
Stephen founded Financial Strategies Group in 1997 with a passion to help his clients enjoy the life they are called to. His diligent stewardship is, in part, refined by his life experience of caring for his brother Greg, a paraplegic of 35 years.
Stephen and his wife of 32 years, Stephanie reside in Franklin. Together they have 5 children, and 14 grandchildren. Stephen and Stephanie are active with Union University in Jackson, TN, Stephen’s alma mater. They created the yield2Yield Scholarship for business students and mentor those students with the message that you can live out your faith in the marketplace and flourish. Stephen enjoys cooking, gardening and doing life together with Stephanie.
Janet M. Mott
Client Service Administrator
Janet joined FSG 20 years ago and remains an integral part of its success. A graduate of the University of Nebraska, Janet’s career includes over 35 years of experience in the financial industry. In Nebraska she worked for a major bank in the Midwest developing and building long lasting relationships with her clients. She has served as a Trust Administrator, Senior Personal Banker and a Financial Advisor. She prides herself in providing highly personalized customer service and support.
Born and raised in a small town outside of Omaha, Nebraska, Janet enjoys playing tennis and golf, watching sports, writing and gardening. Janet has also been active in community service events as well as in the women’s and youth groups in her local church.
Janet is married to Don, who is a member of the worship team at their local church. She enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews and taking care of her two dogs, Sunny and Sasha.
